July 16

Spending the day in downtown Fredericton.

Walked by the Old Loyalist Burial Ground (dates back to 1784, large families and kids dying young). Went to the Boyce Farmers’ Market (it’s every Saturday). Bought some Gagetown cider and some fresh orange juice.

You can kinda see the Union Jack

After the market wakes across the Bill Thorpe pedestrian bridge (former rail bridge). There was a brewery on the other side (Picaroons) that we took Nala too (I think they’re now more lax about dogs on brewery patios?)

Over the Saint John River
The umbrella was for Nala lol
She was quite happy with the other dogs sitting around her table, just not the ones walking by that weren’t part of the “club”

Mom and I did the one hour free tour of Fredericton (dad and Nala weren’t interested).

Off to P.E.I. tomorrow!
