July 15

Started the day in St. Stephens at the Ganong chocolate store. They’re the original creator of the heart-shaped chocolate box. Very close to Maine (on the other side of the river behind the lighthouse).

A nice older man offered to take our picture. That’s his granddaughter lol (and he missed the top half of the lighthouse)

Drove about 25 minutes to get to St. Andrews by the Sea. Walked the Main Street but it was quite hot for Nala. Dad didn’t mind passing on the Kingsbrae Gardens so mom and I went in and dad and Nala stayed cool in the car. It was pretty quick aside from the Secret Garden being hard to find (go figure!)

The Secret Garden that actually was quite a secret (mom said she needed a machete to find it)

They have a tree for every province…Ontario’s is dead!

Just grabbing some take out and waiting to cross the sand bar to Minister’s Island when the tide goes out for around 4 hours at 5ish.

This is the CPR tycoon’s summer house on Ministers Island (we thought the barn was the house and were the only people driving away from the house at the beginning).

Before the tide went out

This is us returning to the mainland from Ministers Island
